1) Getting ready to ascend into the clouds, 2) the never-ending talus slope, 3) the view back down to the valley we started from.

4) Eventually we attained the ridge, 5) which had quite a bit of snow on it, 6) as did the mountaintops to the north of us.

7) There was enough to make a snowball! 8) but we had a long way to go, 9) finally getting into the clouds that sheathed the summit.

Views from the summit looking:  10) NW, 11) NE, 12) SW, 13) SE.

14) Scrambling to the summit, 15) on the descent, summit behind, 16) along the descent ridge.

17) Britt discovers gold! 18) Rolf skis off the edge, 19) and heads on down.

20) Deep gorge we passed on our descent, carved by creek which is 21) running white with dissolved minerals.
