Maybe it's just me, but lately I've found
a distinct tendency in myself to inspect the
details of nearly every talk.bizarre posting,
especially free-form type poetry.

Yes, I'm old-fashioned, but I believe that poems
ought to rhyme (or at least have some kind of
unifying structure or theme to them).

Like haiku, for example.  Or a verse with 
orderly margins.  If I don't see something 
obvious, I look for secret messages, hidden 
kernels of truth (or perhaps of banality).
